Students have expressed frustration with the time is takes for them to receive graded work so that they know their standing in the class and can effectively study for exams.  In extreme cases students complain that they have not received graded homework prior to the final exam.  The Academic Affairs subcommittee learned from Associate Provost Moeller that there have been discussions regarding this issue in the Associate Dean and Directors group.  It is recommended that the Provost Office continues its review of this issue in consultation with campus constituencies.
